"Maps and Plans" does not mention any Underground Map, but page 35 says "See Railway Maps facing pp. 39 and 41.". The one facing 39 is the usual Ward Lock's own map; but that facing 41 is missing. There is a slight mark on page 40, which be consistent with a site of attachement.
1928 Title page: "47th ed. rev."
Spine: "1928"
Adverts: "Series 1928-29"
"Maps and Plans" does not mention any Underground Map, and page 35 says only "See Railway Map facing p. 39.". The one facing 39 is the usual Ward Lock's own map. No evidence of any attached Underground Map. There is, however, a loose-leaf Stingemore map of the London Underground, which seems to be identical to the 1927 edition of the map.

In another specimen of this edition, there is no Tube Map. It has a dust jacket saying "De Luxe Edition". Under the dust jacket is a plain cover, unlike the usual pictorial cover.
c.1956 Title page: "60th ed."

n/k: not seen this edition yet, but I would guess there would be a pocket Tube Map.
1959 Title page: "61st ed."
Adverts: no date
In the contents, "Maps and Plans" does not mention any Railway or Underground Map. Ward Lock's own map of London's Railways is no longer present. There is, however, a London Transport pocket map (printed one side, on paper) glued to page 57: it is undated, but is identical in content to the August 1958 edition of the pocket map. (The only exception being that the grid is omitted on this paper printing.) The guidebook has a dust jacket, underneath which is the usual pictorial cover.
In a different printing of the same 61st edition (with different advertisements), there was a standard-issue card Diagram of Lines (code 858/1783M/500,000(R)).
